Hello Evils,


To celebrate the USA Memorial Day Weekend, I would like to announce a FragFest of exceptional speed and pain.  This 2 hour event is open to anyone who wants a little OpenArena fun.  The 5 game types will be team based, so players of all skill level are welcome.   

When: Sunday, 30 May 2010.

FragFest Map Rotation:  Nine (9) custom maps will be played and each map will be played twice.  The 1st time a map is played all weapons will be enabled.  The 2nd time the map is played only the following weapons will be enabled: Gauntlet, Off-hand Grapple (Hook), Machine Gun, Shotgun and Rail Gun.

Each map will have a time limit of 6 minutes followed by a 1 minute rest/warm-up period.  Total FragFest time is 125 minutes (2 hours and 5 minutes).

Last year, at a smaller event, I had the opportunity to play with Aim, AwesoMe, Helvas, S.Creamer, and possibly others.  I hope to see some of you again.  Best Wishes for your Clan's continued success.

our training with divine is at the same time. if you all wanna join the fragfest, we need to talk to divine and suspend the training for this sunday.

I would prefer the training in my opinion.

To be honnest we just join league for fun, our team is quite inactive with work exams and holidays : that mean we nearly never play except the Evil train ^^ We didn't know all the map and not sure all of us have try this MOD rofl xD

Btw : I don't play any League match coz i start exams now..

It sounds like st0n3r is indicating that your training with divine is 2 weeks prior to the FragFest.  However, even if I am mistaken I doubt your training will overlap the full 2 hours so you can probably catch a map or two.

eh... no.  TDM is my least favorite game type and the weakest team based game that I know.  The objective of TDM is basically boring.

The FragFest will feature 5 Team Based Game Types: Freeze Tag, Protect the Leader, Capture the Flag, One Flag Capture the Flag, and Return the Flag.  To learn about these, and possibly try a practice round or two, please click this link - http://oa.goquake.com/?page_id=692

Players in Germany should experience a ping range of 95 - 125 based on how the German based Spider for the Q3 Excessive Plus Servers ping the 2 Q3 Servers that I still host.  http://www.excessiveplus.net/spider

I will probably have a CTF only FragFest in August if I can get enough players interested.
