OA_ServerConnect v0.6 (Linux and Windows)

Bugfix:
- The "password thing" works without the need of a nick

News:
- The tool window starts in the position and size it was closed
- If you dont want to put OA in your PATH or put oasc in the OA folder, the command to start OA can be changed
- The number of players is shown for each server
- The title of the connect dialog shows the server ip
- The statusbar shows the number of found players and servers
- Automatically OS detection, so no longer two source-codes are needed
- Little optical improvements in the server list

Download:
<OA_ServerConnect for Linux>
<OA_ServerConnect for Windows (Setup.exe)>
<Source for both>

Help:
- Linux: The Settings will be saved in a Configfile (here it is /home/me/.config/EvilSoft/OA_ServerConnect.conf)

- Windows: The Settings will be saved in the registry (here it is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EvilSoft\OA_ServerConnect)

Under "System" you can change the "ConnectCMD", for example to "C:\Programme\OpenArena\openarena.exe"

Thanks:
- to Panic for bugfixing and ideas

hum? This .dll is in the zip... Simply put it in the same folder like the .exe or in c:\windows\system32...
Of course u must UNPACK the archive before starting the .exe...

Quote
It's a .zip with the .exe and 5 dll's.
- The .exe must be in the same dir like your openarena.exe, or OA must be in your PATH
- The .dll's must be in the same dir like the OA_ServerConnect.exe or in C:\Windows\system32\

well, you quoted from your manual, koma.

Not really - a manual, i mean a really fucking manuel, must contain tons of waste, 56 languages and some good hidden useful hints  ;)
But i heared, Panic will write such a thing at weekend :P

FIXED! (The .dll is in the .zip now)

Background: <undocumented dependency on libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll for deployed app>

Thx for your interest  8)

Sorry Obama - seems, this .dll has been corrupted while uploading :(
Pls try again and let me know that it works now :)

EDIT: The Windows version has a setup.exe now - may be its the easier way for Windows users... Simplest way: Choose the path, where your openarena.exe is. That should be all.
It will create a desktop icon and an entry in start menu.

BTW: Anyone who like to make an nice icon for OA_ServerConnect?

Hmm, do you really think a favlist makes sense?  ???
I have not planned that yet...  :o
